Service – Recommended at least every 12 months from installation.
- Visual inspection and operation check of the charge point and tethered lead.
- Check the over-current protection rating and supply cable size.
- Isolate the charge point and remove the cover.
- Check termination and note any heat damage.
- Test RCDs where possible – Tripping times and functional test.
- Carry out electrical testing of the socket outlet.
- Take photos of the charger – internal & external.
- Clean the unit.
- Complete a report for each charge point.
