It offers a voucher-based system, covering up to 75% of installation costs, with a maximum grant of £350 per charge point. Businesses can claim for up to 20 double or 40 single charge points.
Who is eligible? Businesses, charities, and public sector organisations with off-street parking. You also need to be able to provide a reason as to why your workspace needs electrical charging points.
What does it cover? A contribution towards the cost of purchasing and installing charge points at your workplace.
Landlords EV Charging Grant
Looking to attract and retain tenants? Offering EV charging is a powerful way to do it. The Landlord EV Chargepoint Grant helps you make it happen, whether you own residential or commercial properties.
This funding opportunity supports landlords and managing agents across the UK who rent or lease properties.
Substantial Savings: The grant covers up to 75% of the purchase and installation costs for each charge point socket, up to a maximum of £350. Some charge points offer multiple sockets, maximising your investment.
Annual Allowance: Each financial year, you can access significant funding:
– Up to 200 grants for your residential portfolio.
– Up to 100 grants for your commercial properties.
These grants can be used across multiple locations or concentrated on a single property, giving you flexibility in how you implement your EV charging strategy. This program is backed by the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV).
EV Chargepoint Grant for Residential Car Parks
Make residential car parks EV-friendly and boost their appeal with government support. The EV Chargepoint Grant for Residential Car Parks helps you install charging points for your residents, making their lives easier and increasing your property’s value.
This grant, administered by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) on behalf of the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), is designed to help businesses and organisations like yours.

Flats & Rentals EV Chargepoint Grant

This grant is available whether you’re a flat owner or a tenant, making EV ownership a reality for more people.
Funding Available: Get support towards the cost of buying and installing a charge point socket. The grant covers up to £350 or 75% of the total cost, whichever is lower.
Eligibility Criteria: You can apply if:
– You own and live in a flat, or you rent any residential property.
– Your home has its own dedicated off-street parking space.
– You own an eligible electric vehicle (approved by OZEV).
Workforce and Fleet with EV Charging
The EV Infrastructure Grant for Staff and Fleets is a game-changer for small to medium-sized businesses (SMEs) looking to embrace electric vehicles. This grant is separate from the Workplace Charging Scheme and offers broader support for your EV charging ambitions.
This funding opportunity is designed specifically for UK-based SMEs with up to 249 employees, provided your car park boasts at least five clearly designated off-street parking spaces.

– Installing the necessary infrastructure to support current and future charge points. This means you can scale your EV charging capacity as your needs grow.
– The cost of any charge points you install right now.

– Up to £500 for each parking space that’s equipped with the essential supporting infrastructure.
Maximum Grant: The maximum grant amount you can receive is £15,000, giving you significant resources to invest in your EV charging setup.
School OZEV Grant

How the scheme works:
The WCS is open to businesses, charities and public sector organisations that meet the applicant and site eligibility criteria.
The grant covers up to 75% of the total costs of the purchase and installation of EV charge points (inclusive of VAT), capped at a maximum of:
- £350 per socket.
- 40 sockets across all sites per applicant – for instance, if you would like to install them in 40 sites, you will have 1 socket available per site.
- Up to £14000 per site.
